Furyis an elite women's Ultimate Frisbee team based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Since its inception in 1997, Fury has earned a reputation for excellence on the ultimate field by melding athleticism, experience, dedication, and teamwork. That combination has helped Fury win nine National Championships (1999, 2003, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012) and the right to represent the USA at seven World Championships (2000, 2002, 2004, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2014) winning Gold in 2008 and 2010, Silver in 2012 and 2014 and Bronze in 2004!

Over the years, Fury has been comprised of a diverse group of women, but everyone has shared a common goal: to excel at the sport we love, together. A vital aspect of this is to support the growth of our sport through education. As Women's Ultimate is not a professionally recognized sport, Fury represents the most elite level of Ultimate and is self-supported and funded. This sport is growing fast and is only becoming more popular; starting in the 1970s in the United States, the sport is now being played all across the globe!

Our team greatly values our position as ambassadors of the sport we love. The team works to spread the knowledge of the game, the importance of fitness and health, and the love of teamwork and spirited play in many ways. Through playing in tournaments across the country (and globe) our team increases the visibility of the sport. Current players offer their time to coach youth teams, and regularly volunteer to host clinics!
Funding we receive from donations via Open Mind play a key role in helping the team travel to tournaments across the Nation. We are so grateful to Open Mind for their support!
